Preparations

Unpack the telephone and ensure all components are present: telephone base, base stand, telephone line cord with power connector, telephone base power adapter, cordless handset and handset battery, handset charging base with overlay, power adapter. For battery installation: Hold handset, press thumbs on battery cover edge near speaker and slide down to remove cover, lift out old battery if replacing, align new battery connectors and push down to snap in, slide cover closed until it clicks. Charge new battery by placing handset in base cradle for 11 hours before first use. Place away from water, heat sources, and interference.

Base includes charging poles, Charge LED, Message waiting LED, Find Handset button, telephone line and power jack. Charging base has Charge LED and charging poles. Expandable to 4 handsets.

Applications: Hospitality analog cordless telephony; 1-line cordless hotel room phone.

Precautions

Installation

Plug telephone line cord into base and wall jack; plug power cord to adapter and unswitched outlet. Connect Ethernet if applicable. Place handset in base cradle to charge for 11 hours. For wall mount: Align eyelets with wall plate studs and slide down to lock (height <2m). For charging base: Plug adapter into unswitched outlet, place handset in cradle. Handset registration: Place in base; auto-registers with beeps (supports up to 4 handsets).

Check Operation

After charging, lift handset and listen for dial tone (wait 1-2 seconds). Test by dialing a number and adjusting volume. Verify CHARGE LED on base. Press FIND HANDSET on base to test paging.

Operating Features

Programming

Access admin mode: Idle, press *7764# then MUTE. For speed dial: Admin mode > Program speed dials.

  1. Store Speed Dial: Admin access: Select location > Enter number > Save.
  2. Dial Speed Dial: Press TALK then speed dial key.
  3. Edit: Admin mode > Edit location.
  4. Delete: Admin reset.

Handset deregistration: Press *331734# then HOLD.

Configuration

Adjust via admin mode (*7764# MUTE): Volumes, ringer. Defaults: Medium.
