Preparations

Unpack the telephone and ensure all components are present: telephone base, base stand, telephone line cord with power connector, telephone base power adapter, cordless handset and handset battery, handset charging base with overlay, power adapter. For battery installation: Hold handset, press thumbs on battery cover edge near speaker and slide down to remove cover, lift out old battery if replacing, align new battery connectors and push down to snap in, slide cover closed until it clicks. Charge new battery by placing handset in base cradle for 11 hours before first use. Place away from water, heat sources, and interference.

Installation

Plug telephone line cord into base and wall jack; plug power cord to adapter and unswitched outlet. Connect Ethernet if applicable. Place handset in base cradle to charge for 11 hours. Check Operation
