Preparations

Installation

Plug telephone line cord into base and wall jack (use DSL filter if needed). Plug power adapter into base and unswitched outlet. Raise antenna on base. Check Operation

After charging, press /SPEAKER and listen for dial tone. Test by dialing a number and adjusting volume. Verify IN USE light on base. Press PAGE on base to test paging. Call the system to test answering machine.

Basic Calling

1. Enter number, press /SPEAKER to dial.
2. To answer: Press any dialing key or /SPEAKER.
3. Adjust volume with VOL +/-.
4. End call: Press OFF/CLEAR or place in base.

Redial: Press REDIAL/PAUSE, scroll, press /SPEAKER.

Operating Features

• Home Screen: LCD shows battery, signal, voicemail icon, date/time.

Programming

Access phonebook via MENU > PHONEBOOK.

1. Store Numbers: MENU > PHONEBOOK > ADD CONTACT > Enter name (up to 15 chars) > Number (up to 32 digits) > Assign ringtone > SAVE.
2. Dial Stored Number: PHONEBOOK > Scroll > Press /SPEAKER.
3. Edit: PHONEBOOK > Scroll > EDIT > Modify > SAVE.
4. Delete: PHONEBOOK > Scroll > DELETE.

Caller ID: MENU > CALL LIST > Review, dial, save, block. Call Block: MENU > CALL BLOCKER > ADD > Enter number.

Changes activate immediately.

Configuration

Adjust via handset menu: Ringer, volume, language, dial mode, date/time, key tone, answering system settings.
