Preparations

Unpack the phone and ensure all components are present: telephone base, cordless handset, charger and adapter, base adapter, telephone cord, 3 x AAA rechargeable batteries, user's manual, warranty card. Install batteries in handset (noting polarity) and charge until full. Place base within 2m of telephone jack and 1m from other devices to avoid interference.

Features include backlit LCD, speakerphone, adjustable ringer (10 melodies), 100-name phonebook, 30-name caller ID log, call block, VIP list, reminder alerts, volume booster, clarity enhancement, quiet mode, voicemail indicator. Supports English/Traditional Chinese display; Cantonese/Mandarin/English voice. Handset and base layouts include navigation keys, volume controls, dedicated buttons for mute, redial, find handset, SOS, photo memory.

Precautions

CAUTION! To prevent electrical shock/equipment damage, unplug before installation. Use only supplied adapters. If in doubt about wiring, consult qualified electrician.

WARNING! Do not use on circuits exceeding 100-240 VAC; improper use can cause shock/fire. All wiring must conform to local/national electrical codes. Avoid use during storms, near gas leaks. Dispose of batteries per local regulations (e.g., EU Directive 2012/19/EU). Use only Ni-MH batteries; risk of explosion if wrong type used.

Specifications

Removing Old Phone

Shut off power if applicable. Remove old phone cover. Label wires before disconnecting. Disconnect wires one at a time; do not let fall into wall. Remove old base from wall.

Installation

Connect telephone cord to base and wall jack. Plug base adapter into power outlet and base (ensure power switch on). Plug charger adapter into power outlet and charger. Install batteries in handset. Place handset on charger. Register additional handsets: Hold base registration key 5s, press handset OK within 90s. Pair optional devices: Hold base registration key 5s, press device button, check signal.

Wiring Diagrams

Terminal Designations: RJ11 jack for line cord on base; DC jack for power adapter.

Standard Setup: Wall jack to base RJ11; Power outlet to adapter to base DC jack.

Wall Mount: Use vertical wall socket adapter if needed.

CAUTION! All wiring must conform to local/national electrical codes. Do not use switched outlets.

Check Operation

After charging, lift handset and listen for dial tone. Test by dialing a number and adjusting volume. Verify CHARGE light on charger/base. Test paging: Hold base find handset key.

Basic Calling

  1. Predial number then press talk key, or lift handset and dial.
  2. To answer: Press talk key on handset or answer key on base.
  3. Adjust volume with slider/keys.
  4. End call: Press end key or place in charger.

Answering Machine

  1. Press ANS ON/OFF on base to turn on.
  2. Record announcement via menu > ANS. SYSTEM > REC ANNOUNCEMENT.
  3. Test by calling from another phone; messages record automatically; playback via replay key.

Intercom

  1. From base: Press INT then handset number; from handset: Menu > INTERCOM > select.
  2. Answer: Press talk key.
  3. Transfer call: Press INT during call, select destination.

Caller ID

View via Menu > CALL LOG; new calls with icon. Dial back with talk key. Save to phonebook via ADD TO PHONEBOOK.

Operating Features

Programming

Access menu with MENU/SELECT. Set date/time, program phonebook, configure ringer.

  1. Set Time: Menu > HS SETTING > DATE & TIME > Enter DD-MM-YY/MM-DD-YYYY, HH:MM > OK.
  2. Phonebook Entries: Menu > PHONEBOOK > ADD > Enter name/number > Save. Add to VIP/Speed dial/Block as needed.
  3. Run: Exit menu; changes activate immediately.

Configuration

Enter menu via MENU/SELECT. Adjust LCD language, key tone, ringer volume/tone, voicemail number, call block, sensor alert.
