Connect coiled handset cord to base and handset. Plug telephone line cords into TEL LINE 1/TEL LINE 2 jacks on base and wall jacks. Connect 5V DC adapter to DC jack and electrical outlet. Desktop: Place on flat surface; route cords through wire duct; install faceplate/overlay. Wall mount: Rotate wall mount clip 180°, connect short ends of line cords to base, route through duct, align with wall plate studs (3/4-inch spacing), slide down to lock; connect handset cord. Ensure installation height under 2 meters. If High Speed Internet, install DSL filter (not included).
Lift handset for dial tone on each line. Dial test number, adjust speaker volume with +/- keys. Verify message LED and line keys flash on incoming call simulation. Check ringer by calling each line from another phone. Test hold, mute, and speakerphone functions. If no dial tone, check line cords and wall jacks.
