Preparations

Unpack the handset and ensure all components are present: cordless handset, handset battery (2.4V 550mAh Ni-MH), handset charging stand, power adapter (Input: 100-120V AC 60 Hz, Output: 6V DC @ 400mA). For battery installation: Pry open screw cover on handset back, remove screw, open cover, unplug old battery if present, plug new battery connector, place with "THIS SIDE UP" facing up, close cover and secure screw. Insert paperclip into ON pinhole to turn on handset. Charge for 16 hours initially in charging stand. Place away from water, heat sources, and interference. Installation

Plug power adapter into charging stand and unswitched outlet. Place handset in stand; CHARGE LED on. For base (CTM-S2422): Connect Cat-5 network cable to RJ-45 LAN port and PoE wall jack. Initialization: LEDs sequence; SPEAKER/MUTE flash on success. For wall mount: Rotate clip, align with wall plate, slide down. Battery: As in Preparations. Registration: Auto on cradle placement; confirmation tone. Deregistration: *331734# then HOLD. Voice Menu: Idle, TALK followed by Û Û Û Û for network/phone config (password 1234 for resets).

Check Operation
