WARNING! Do not use on circuits exceeding 120 VAC; improper use can cause shock/fire. All wiring must conform to local/national electrical codes. Shut off power if applicable. Remove old phone cover. Label wires before disconnecting. Disconnect wires one at a time; do not let fall into wall. Remove old base from wall.
Plug telephone line cords into base and wall jacks (for 2-line: L1 and L2). Plug power adapter into base and unswitched outlet. Install battery in handset (connector first, label up, slide cover). Place handset in base to charge for 16 hours. For wall mount, attach bracket and slide base into place. Register additional handsets via base FIND HANDSET button.
Terminal Designations: RJ11 jacks for L1 and L2 on base; DC jack for power adapter.
